Marae and manamagaroa reserve walk

Yesterday, me, Clayton and my mum were sitting in the bus . First we went to Edgewater college to go in the Marae. We waited  about five minutes.  I thought  they were putting on makeup but I was wrong,  they were setting up, or something like that. The Maori  name for Edgewater is Te taha wai,  I think.
After the prayers we went into the kitchen. We had orange juice and biscuits.  Clayton finished first then the lady said these four tables go back into the marae to draw the patterns that inspired us. After that our group went into the kitchen to draw our own Koru patterns . I have a,lot of family and whanau, TRUST ME!
After that we went back on the bus. We still sat in the same places. We went to  the Mangamangaroa  reserve walk  to get inspired by all the leaves and fauna and forestry. When we got to the top we had to run almost a mile back to the bus, but I made it. After that we went back to school. I had a really great time  with my mum and my friends.
